Job Description

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently hiring a Surgical Technologist in Seattle, Washington! This is an on-site, full-time opportunity supporting a busy surgical team in an outpatient surgical setting. Apply with a current resume for consideration.
Pay:
$31.00 to $33.50 per hour
Type:
Full-Time Schedule:
4 days per week | 10-hour shifts
Hours:
6:45 AM - 5:15 PM (day off during the week may vary)
Location:
Seattle, WA 98104
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the surgical team to ensure quality patient care throughout surgical procedures
  • Assist Surgeons by preparing and maintaining surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment
  • Demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures and proper use of instrumentation and sterile technique
  • Follow strict aseptic techniques during procedures and equipment processing
  • Assist in the assessment, planning, and implementation of care for surgical patients
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety policies, regulatory requirements, and departmental protocols
  • Demonstrate knowledge and adherence to Universal Precautions and HIPAA standards
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and provide courteous, responsive assistance to patients and staff
  • Use judgment in seeking consultation from circulating Nurses and additional clinical staff as needed
  • Maintain composure and initiate emergency care procedures when appropriate according to ACLS guidelines
  • Assist with selection and preparation of supplies, instrumentation, and equipment needed for procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program required
  • Current Surgical Technologist registration in the State of Washington required
  • Current AHA BLS Certification required
  • Prior Surgical Tech experience preferred in orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, urology, or ENT
