Work Schedule:
Casual Part Time working 2 days/week flexible start as early as 5:30 am. After graduation, will transition to full-time Surgical Technologist with the following work schedule: Monday - Friday starting between 10:30 am - 12:30 pm (8-hour shift) with call rotation every 8th-10th weekend and 1 holiday/year Want to learn more: Chat with Dianne Xiong at dianne.xiong@emplifyhealth.org
Job Description:
Under the direction of a
Surgical Technologist:
Responsible for providing quality care of perioperative patients. Maintains safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors; properly functioning equipment; and availability of equipment, supplies and drugs. Assists and informs physicians of relevant information. Maintains patient treatment area with a coordinated, efficient surgical schedule and team for emergent and scheduled procedures. This position will transition from a Surgical Technologist Extern to a full-time Surgical Technologist with the Surgery Department after graduation.
Qualifications:
Completed Clinical 1 rotation required and/or entering final semester of an accredited surgical technologist program required. Why Bellin Health?
