Qualifications:

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential preferred. Minimum one year of recent experience as a CVOR Tech or in a cardiovascular surgical setting. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association. Strong knowledge of cardiac surgery instrumentation and procedures. Ability to function efficiently in high-pressure settings. Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare the operating room for cardiovascular surgical procedures. Assist the surgical team with instrumentation, supplies, and equipment during cases. Ensure sterile field and adherence to infection control protocols. Collaborate closely with nursing staff, surgeons, and anesthesia providers. Manage surgical specimens and assist with post-op room breakdown.
