Required About the Role MedOp Solutions is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for a travel assignment within a large Milwaukee operating room. This position will primarily support General Surgery cases , but candidates must be comfortable working across multiple surgical specialties. Strong vascular surgery experience is required. The department consists of 21 operating rooms and supports a broad range of General, Vascular, Orthopedic, Neuro, ENT, GU, GYN, and other surgical procedures. Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant Surgical Technologist experience and be prepared to discuss the amount and frequency of their experience with specific case types. • Required Focus Candidates must have a strong General Surgery background and must be able to perform vascular cases .

Relevant experience includes:

Vascular surgery Laparoscopic procedures Breast surgery Plastic surgery General oncology Genitourinary (GU) Gynecology (GYN) Robotic surgery using the da Vinci Xi system

Important:

Agency clinicians are generally not trained on robotic procedures unless they already have a strong robotic background and are expected to remain for more than one contract. Neuro / ENT Relevant cases may include: Laminectomies ALIF procedures Spinal fusions Discectomies Cranial tumors VP shunts Subdural procedures EVD cases Neck dissections with flaps Sinus surgery using Stealth Navigation Basic ENT procedures Tonsil procedures Tympanoplasty AVM/aneurysm and cochlear experience are not required .

Medtronic Cranial & Spine Navigation Medtronic Stealth for ENT Stryker Navigation Synaptive Cranial Navigation Orthopedics Relevant experience includes: Fractures Anterior hips Total joint replacements Orthopedic spine Hand surgery Podiatry Hanna Table Qualifications Required Minimum 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience Strong General Surgery experience Vascular surgery experience

Within the department, clinicians may be cross-trained and assigned to: General Main OR specialties Urology Center Other applicable surgical specialties based on department needs Candidates must be flexible and able to work across case types. Orientation Approximately 1-1.5 weeks of orientation Exact orientation length depends on assigned team and shift Orientation is subject to change based on department needs Scheduling & Expectations Scheduling varies based on the position and department needs. For day assignments, start times may range from approximately 5:30 AM to 7:00 AM . PM scheduling depends on the specific requisition. There is no standard weekend rotation; however, weekend on-call coverage is required . On-Call Requirements On-call participation is required with a 30-minute response time . No call rooms are available Call schedules are generally created in 8-week increments Exact call requirements may change based on staffing and department needs General / Neuro / Orthopedic

• AM Call Typical requirements may include: End-of-shift (EOS) call: approximately 8-10 slots 10:30 PM
• 7:00 AM call: approximately 1-2 slots Weekend call: approximately 1-2 weekends , depending on specialty PM Call Typical requirements may include: 10:30 PM
• 7:00 AM call: approximately 5-10 slots Weekend call: approximately 1-2 weekends , depending on specialty Holiday Requirements Holiday expectations are determined by department needs.

During holiday weeks, agency clinicians may: Work four 10-hour shifts , or Take the designated holiday as unpaid time Additional holiday requirements can be confirmed with the hiring supervisor.
