Education Requirements/Position Requirements:

Validation of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Certification Requirements (Must be certified in Alabama): Validation of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Applicant must be a Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Patient Care Tech, Medical Assistant, Paramedic, EMT, or currently enrolled in a nursing program. If enrolled in a nursing program, completion of Fundamentals of Nursing is a requirement, and documentation is required.

Responsibilities:

Provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of RN's and LPN's. Provides for personal care, comfort, and assures patient safety. Must be dependable, hardworking, and a team player with a good attitude and professional behavior. Applicants will be responsible for vital signs, assisting nursing personnel, and helping patients with basic daily needs. Must have the ability to effectively communicate and carry out detailed written or verbal instructions independently. Other duties as assigned.
