Telemetry Technician (Night Shift) : Centralized Telemetry Monitor Hoag Health System - 4.0 Newport Beach, CA Job Details Full-time 9 hours ago Qualifications Cardiac rhythm analysis High school diploma or GED Full Job Description The Telemetry Tech/Clerical Coordinator (CC/TT) I is responsible for monitoring electrocardiogram and SPO2 measurements constantly for designated patients and informing the RN of changes. We are currently hiring only for night shift full-time and part-time positions. Maintains and checks monitoring equipment daily. Works as a part of the patient care team to maintain organization within the clinical station, answer telephones and patient call lights promptly, assist patients, hospital visitors, and members of the healthcare team. Performs some clerical functions including organizing the clinical station, tracking equipment inventory, as well as monitoring electronic orders. Notifies Charge nurse of new admits and maintains census record. Participates in Swap Shifts to ensure skill competency. Performs other duties as assigned. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Recent experience as a Telemetry Tech/Clerical Coordinator in an acute healthcare environment preferred. Completion of basic arrhythmia course and successfully passed ECG test required. Completion of a Clerical Coordinator course including medical terminology preferred.
