Job Summary and Qualifications The Monitor Technician is responsible for the equipment set up and continuous cardiac observation of telemetry patients at a centralized station. Our Telemetry Techs are passionate about ensuring an exceptional patient experience and committed to caring like family. Unlock your potential here! What you will do in this role: You will s et up telemetry equipment for new admissions according to established procedures. You will interpret and document rhythm stri ps at regular intervals . You will report any cardiac arrhythmias or rhythm changes to the primary nurse. You will report changes in pulse oximetry data to the primary nurse. You will assist in maintaining telemetry supplies. What q ualifications y ou w ill n eed: Applicant must successfully complete the monitor technician credentialing process within the first three weeks of employment.
