POSITION SUMMARY

Position Summary:

The birth center technician/registrar performs clerical, interdepartmental, and general communications under the direction of the professional nurse in charge of the patient care unit. The birth center technician/registrar may at times function in the role of a nurse assistant.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education High school graduate or GED Medical terminology preferred Minimum Experience One year nurse assistant experience preferred Required Registration/License/Certification None
