We are seeking a telemetry technician to monitor our patients requiring telemetry, caring for a wide variety of patient diagnoses. Job responsibilities include interpreting and analyzing continuous telemetry monitoring for patients with cardiac problems, troubleshooting problems with monitor reception, ensuring proper lead placement, pick-up and delivery of monitors to each floor, and cleaning of the transmitters and cables after each patient's use. A telemetry certification is required unless you have previous telemetry experience. If you are new to the field, please check with the Career Institute for a schedule of classes at (318) 212-8080.
