Department:
Progressive Care Unit Work Hours:
Full Time. Three (3) Twelve (12) Hour shifts per week. Steady Daylight shift 7am - 7pm. Weekends and holidays as required. The Monitor Technician will be responsible continuous observation of telemetry unit, accurate assessment and interpretation of cardiac rhythms and/or arrhythmia's, complete evaluation and mounting of rhythm strips and communication of any rhythm change information to nursing staff. Requirements High School graduate or equivalent required. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment. Preferred Fundamental knowledge of arrhythmia interpretation and monitoring function is preferred.
