Submit your application for the opportunity below: Patient Monitor Tech We have day and night shifts available. Days are 7am to 7pm and Nights are 7pm to 7am. You work 3 shifts per week with rotating weekends.
- Job Summary and Qualifications
- As a Monitor Technician, you will assist the nurse and/or physician in providing support to the unit as assigned and supervised by the nurse. In this important role, you will monitor surveillance and documentation of cardiac rhythms and will provide communication of patient needs to the appropriate caregiver.
- What you will do in this role:
- + •You will observe for changes in heart rate, rhythm, or other centrally monitored parameters, reporting significant events to the nurse or Charge Nurse.
- + •You will admit/discharge patients from monitoring system.
- + •You will maintain accurate telemetry transmitter monitor log books.
- + •You will manage the inventory of telemetry transmitter monitors.
- What qualifications you will need:
- + •You must have a high school diploma or equivalent•+ •Specialty training is preferred specifically in EKGs.
