Job Description

The Monitor Technician is responsible for on-going surveillance of patient cardiac monitors and provides Nurses and/or clinicians with immediate notifications of any changes in cardiac rhythms. The Technician assists with maintenance of monitoring equipment through delivery; pick up; and cleaning of telemetry equipment. Monitor Technicians must possess effective commination skills.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education High School or equivalent. Minimum Work Experience No previous experience. Required Licenses/Certifications Required Skills; Knowledge; and Abilities Ability to handle confidential information. Maintains professional appearance at all times. Designated Driver No OSHA Category 2 - Medium Risk
