Job Description
Job Summary Alabama Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Vascular Sonographer to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will utilize advanced ultrasound technology to perform diagnostic vascular imaging procedures, assisting physicians in evaluating blood flow and vascular health. Your expertise will contribute to accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning for patients with vascular conditions. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations, including Doppler studies, to assess blood flow in arteries and veins. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, ensuring comfort, and obtaining relevant medical history. Analyze imaging results in real-time, identifying abnormalities or areas requiring further investigation. Maintain precise documentation of all procedures, findings, and patient interactions in accordance with hospital protocols. Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret diagnostic data and support clinical decision-making. Adhere strictly to aseptic techniques and infection control standards during all procedures. Monitor vital signs and physiological responses of patients during examinations to ensure safety and comfort. Experience Proven experience as a Vascular Sonographer or in a similar diagnostic imaging role within a clinical setting.
