Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time OB/GYN Sonographer to join our team. In this vital role, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations with precision and compassion, supporting our providers in delivering comprehensive maternal-fetal, gynecological, and women's health diagnostics. Your expertise will help ensure accurate imaging and contribute to positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities Operate medical imaging equipment to perform obstetric and gynecological ultrasounds, including prenatal, gynecological, abdominal, breast, and vascular ultrasounds Ensure proper patient positioning and explain procedures clearly to foster comfort and cooperation Maintain detailed documentation of imaging procedures within electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems Apply aseptic techniques to uphold a sterile environment during procedures Analyze images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed for optimal results Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to interpret findings and support diagnostic processes Experience Proven experience in maternal-fetal medicine, obstetrics/gynecology (Ob/Gyn), or women's health diagnostics Skilled in vascular ultrasound imaging, gynecological ultrasound, and abdominal ultrasound procedures Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical imaging principles Proficiency operating sonography equipment and other medical imaging devices Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and PACS for documentation and image management Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and provide compassionate patient care Knowledge of vascular technology diagnostics and women's health diagnostics is highly desirable Join us in making a difference by providing top-tier diagnostic imaging services that empower women's health.
