Ultrasound Technician, Acute Location:

Russellville, AR Position Overview Join an acute-care imaging team as an Ultrasound Technician performing diagnostic sonography for patients across a broad age range. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of examinations while supporting physicians and clinical teams in delivering accurate, timely patient care.

Schedule Full-time Wednesday-Friday:

9:00 AM-9:00 PM Alternative full-time schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM Rotating call required for the Monday-Friday schedule Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations for interpretation by radiologists. Conduct studies involving abdominal, obstetric, vascular, neonatal, pelvic, breast, and small-parts imaging. Adjust examination techniques appropriately for newborn, pediatric, adult, and older adult patients. Maintain patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout examinations. Verify that ultrasound equipment is clean, operational, properly maintained, and calibrated. Assist physicians and clinical staff by providing technical expertise related to diagnostic sonography. Maintain an organized imaging environment and follow applicable safety and quality standards. Participate in continuing education and departmental quality-improvement activities. Contribute to efficient daily operations through dependable and professional performance. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Radiologic Technology program. ARDMS or ARRT(DMS) certification, or eligibility for certification. BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications One year of ultrasound experience preferred. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Pay:

$55,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
