Note :
Eligibility for benefits may vary by location and is determined by employment status Job Summary Position Summary Technician providing ECHO cardiograms. Schedules, prepares, administers and reports interpretations of Echocardiograms, M-mode, 2-dimensional, Doppler, color flow mapping, transesophageal imaging, Stress ECHO and assists Cardiologist. Responsibilities Assesses patient data and formulates plan of intervention. Implements patient care plan. Performs 12 Lead EKG. Performs exercise stress testing. Applies Holter monitor.
Performs Echocardiographic studies:
2-D, M-Mode, Doppler. Assists with transesophageal echocardiograms. Evaluates and calculates echocardiogram raw data and scores, calculates the raw data, and presents it in an appropriate manner. Utilizes computer for Holter tap scanning and EKG editing. Documents interventions and patient responses. Other related job tasks or responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications Special Skills:
Ability to recognize cardiac diseases during imaging with proficiency in cardiac measurements. Excellent customer service skills.
Minimum Requirements Education:
Graduate of an approved ARDMS school
Certifications:
Echocardiographic Technician Certification, CPR.
Preferred Requirements Experience:
Experience as an Echocardiographic Technician under the supervision of a Certified Technician and a Cardiologist.
