Cardiovascular Sonographer Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced cardiovascular sonographer to join our team at Southwest Cardiovascular Associates (SWCVA). As a cardiovascular sonographer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality ultrasound imaging services to our patients. You will work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to diagnose and manage cardiovascular diseases.

Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures to assess the heart, veins, and arteries Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures Obtain patient histories and review medical records Analyze ultrasound images and prepare reports Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care Maintain equipment and supplies Stay up-to-date on the latest cardiovascular imaging techniques Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff

Qualifications:

Registered cardiovascular sonographer (RCS) credential ARDMS certification preferred Bachelor's degree in cardiovascular sonography or a related field 2+ years of experience as a cardiovascular sonographer Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
