Key Qualifications:
Current certification as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer (ARDMS or equivalent) Demonstrated skills and hands-on experience in general ultrasound imaging Strong knowledge of anatomy, patient positioning, and imaging protocols Ability to assess image quality and ensure optimal results for interpretation Excellent communication and patient-interaction skills Commitment to maintaining sterile techniques and regulatory compliance Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment
Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, explain processes, and answer any questions to ensure comfort Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images as ordered by physicians Analyze and record imaging findings, delivering comprehensive reports to healthcare providers Maintain accurate patient records and manage imaging files according to facility policies Practice strict infection control and equipment maintenance protocols Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth workflow and superior patient outcomes This contract position offers a unique chance to make a meaningful impact in a modern healthcare setting, supporting physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of a diverse patient population.
