At Inview Imaging we strive to provide the highest level of care to our patients throughout California, in comfortable outpatient settings. We are currently seeking a qualified full-time sonographer to fill a 6-month temporary position at our Livingston location with the opportunity for permanent employment at the end of the contract. Work hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm (an hour for lunch) Tuesday through Friday. Applicants are required to have ARDMS certification (OBGYN required) and must have a minimum of 1 year experience in OB and General ultrasound procedures in a clinical setting. Compensation level is based on applicant's experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures. Perform ultrasound exams following established protocols for patient care and safety. 2. Maintain a safe and clean ultrasound environment. Prepare (set up, clean) equipment before each appointment. 3. Log procedures completed and processes related paperwork using RIS and PACS systems. 4. Maintain examination rooms and stock necessary medical and ultrasound supplies. 5. Perform basic medical assisting duties to ensure good patient flow. These include triaging and rooming patients, and assisting the front desk with scheduling questions as needed. 6. Ensure all exams achieve a radiographic interpretation by clarifying discrepancies and working with radiologists. 7. Deliver excellent customer service and patient care

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

1. High School Diploma/GED. 2. BLS certification required. 3. 2 years of experience or more preferred, with at least 1 year of Certification in Specialty.

Acceptable Specialty Certifications:

ARRT, ARDMS LANGUAGE SKILLS

1. Ability to communicate in English and Spanish both verbally and written 2. Excellent interpersonal skills. 3. Excellent communication skills with providers, staff, management, and patients.

$45.00 - $55.00 per hour
