Job Description
Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Echo Tech/Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions. Every day you will operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data, ensuring patient comfort and performing a range of echocardiographic studies. To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, proficient technical skills, and effective communication abilities to provide exceptional diagnostic services. Utilizes the AIDET principle to communicate with others, with a focus on patients and their families. Acknowledge Introduce Explain Duration Thank Performs echocardiograms, doppler, color flow Doppler and Transesophageal echoes with supervision as required. Performs stress echoes with supervision or independently. Performs tilt table procedures. Schedules and prioritizes tests. Performs EKG testing. Job Requirements Required Currently attending or graduate of an accredited echocardiography program and Clinical experience performing echocardiograms, stress echoes, transesophageal echoes, EKG testing, stress testing and Holter monitors independently or with proctor American Heart Association Basic Life Support
