Responsibilities include:

Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures while providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals of all ages Asist with IAC accreditation. Salary Range:

$65.55

• $79.93/Hourly Qualifications Staff Ultrasound Technologist At least 1 year of acute care (hospital) experience
• required RDMS credential in one specialty
• required Senior Ultrasound Technologist 4 years of prior acute care (hospital) experience
• required (Advancement into Senior job classification can be assessed after 6 months with UCLA Health) RDMS credential in three specialties
• Abdomen, OBGYN and RVT
• required General Requirements BLS/CPR Certificate
• required Graduate of CAAHAP ultrasound program
• strongly preferred AAS or higher in Medical Sonography
• preferred Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, visitors, physicians, nurses, staff and others in a professional and courteous manner Ability to accept and carry out oral and written instructions accurately Ability to employ independent decision making, prioritize work, while handling multiple tasks to completion within allotted time Ability to show attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness Basic typing skills to input various data into RIS and HIS Information systems.

Knowledge of medical terminology with the ability to distinguish between types of procedures within the assigned department(s) and medical diagnoses
