Albert Vein Institute, Colorado's leading facility for varicose and spider vein treatment, seeks a highly qualified Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) to join our growing AVI Team. Located in Colorado Springs (North) and South Denver (Lone Tree). NO weekends, NO call schedule! We enjoy a work-life harmony in Colorado! Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to : Obtains detailed and accurate patient health history during initial ultrasound examinations Performs detailed ultrasound examinations for the purpose of developing an effective treatment plan Performs continued follow up ultrasound examinations to ensure long lasting positive results in patient care as ordered by the provider Creates detailed reports and documentation of ultrasound examination findings Assists the physician with ultrasound guided sclerotherapy for varicose vein resolution Assists the surgical team during endovenous thermal ablation procedures utilizing ultrasound guided techniques while practicing proper aseptic technique Assists with daily ancillary duties as required.
Education:
Must hold a RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or RVS (Registered Vascular Sonographer) certification, or scheduled to test.
Experience:
Minimum one year of experience as a vascular technologist with a specialty in venous disease is preferred. However, extensive training will be provided on-the-job.
Salary:

Competencies:
Must be able to work independently while also working in a strong team environment. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to multitask and be mentally adaptable to work with complex situations.
Travel:
During training, this position will require travel between our two locations, with travel time and gas allowance provided. Travel between our Colorado Springs and Lone Tree offices may be required, 1-2 days per week, on a regular basis as needed.

$43.00 - $50.00 per hour
