Schedule/Hours:

Key Qualifications:
Current ARDMS certification required Competency in general ultrasound techniques and equipment operation Solid understanding of infection control and sterile procedures Excellent patient care and communication skills Ability to independently prioritize tasks and respond effectively in emergency situations Willingness to instruct students and mentor junior staff
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform ultrasound exams following department protocols, ensuring clarity and diagnostic quality Accurately verify orders, identify patients, and document procedures and outcomes Educate, comfort, and address patient concerns throughout their visit Maintain equipment, adhere to cleaning standards, and report any malfunctions Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes Guide students and fellow technologists on techniques and department standards Uphold all departmental and regulatory protocols for coding, charging, and quality control
