1 Description American Traveler is hiring a night-shift Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with at least 6 months of recent experience, ARDMS and RVT certification, and active CO licensure. Details Ultrasound department in a 422-bed hospital Staff includes 3 general sonographers on day shift and 1 sonographer on night shift Equipment includes GE and Philips ultrasound systems Meditech EMR used 13-week assignment with 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM shifts Call requirement of Saturdays 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM on a Q6 week rotation Typical caseload of 8-15 scans per 12-hour shift Typical procedures include abdominal and pelvic ultrasounds and lower extremity duplex studies (venous and arterial) Requirements Minimum 6 months of current Sonographer experience BLS certification required ARDMS and RVT certification required Active CO license required if applicable Neonatal head ultrasound experience preferred General Sonographer experience preferred Ability to work independently and communicate confidently with RN and MD staff Strong hand-off practices with oncoming AM staff Additional Information Relaxed work environment with a variable, manageable workload Small, family-like team atmosphere Located in an area with 300+ days of sunshine and easy access to outdoor recreation and the Rocky Mountains Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
