1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for a day shift contract requiring

ARRT, ARDMS

certification, and 2+ years of experience. Details Perform general ultrasound exams including abdomens, OB, GYN, breast, and vascular/arterial studies Day shift Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30/5:00 pm No call, weekends, or holiday coverage required 13-week contract assignment Requirements Current ARRT and ARDMS certification Current BLS certification Minimum of 2 years of experience required Must maintain compliance with continuing medical education (CME) Ability to perform general diagnostic radiology procedures State license required if applicable and must be currently active Additional Information Work independently evaluating, synthesizing, and communicating diagnostic information to referring physicians and radiologists Responsible for the safety and well-being of all patients in the Imaging Department Troubleshoot ultrasound equipment and communicate with service engineers for repairs as needed Willingness to cross-train into other imaging modalities Organize daily work schedule and perform related clerical duties including patient scheduling Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and the healthcare team
