Mobile Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist Medstaff Group Stamford, CT Job Details Full-time $35 - $50 an hour 11 hours ago Benefits Travel reimbursement Health insurance Qualifications Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Full Job Description Mobile Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist MedStaff Group Greater Stamford, CT and Westchester County, NY $35-$50 per Hour | Full-Time Thursday-Sunday Schedule MedStaff Group is seeking an experienced Mobile Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist to provide portable diagnostic imaging services throughout the Greater Stamford and Westchester County areas. This position is ideal for a dependable sonographer who enjoys working independently, traveling between healthcare facilities, and providing high-quality patient care. Candidates must be consistently available Thursday through Sunday. Responsibilities Perform portable ultrasound examinations at healthcare facilities throughout Greater Stamford and Westchester County. Complete general, abdominal, vascular, and other assigned ultrasound studies. Produce clear, high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Accurately document examinations and submit completed studies for physician interpretation. Communicate professionally with patients, nursing staff, facility administrators, and the operations team. Travel between assigned healthcare facilities during scheduled shifts. Maintain ultrasound equipment and follow all imaging, infection-control, and regulatory standards. Qualifications Active ARDMS certification required. Experience performing multiple ultrasound modalities. General, abdominal, and vascular ultrasound experience strongly preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to travel throughout Greater Stamford and Westchester County. Strong patient-care, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently in a mobile healthcare environment. Must be available Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Must hold or be eligible to obtain any required New York and Connecticut credentials.
