1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Travel Ultrasound Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a 13-week night shift weekend contract at an academic medical center in Washington, D.C. Details 13-week contract at an academic medical center in Washington, D.C. Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Friday through Sunday 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts Performs ultrasound procedures and produces diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist in a U.S. hospital required Active ARRT (Ultrasound) certification required; no pending licenses accepted Current BLS certification required (AHA only) High school diploma or equivalent required; diploma from an accredited radiologic technology program required BS or MS in Healthcare preferred Lead Ultrasound Technologist experience preferred License required if applicable

required Date of birth required for consideration Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer Candidates must reside more than 25 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information Performs ultrasound procedures using related techniques to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease states Maintains required records in accordance with regulatory and accreditation agency standards Performs equipment quality control procedures and reports deficiencies to a supervisor CPI certification is mandated for this position
