33613 Generate, analyze, and distribute quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) reports for Obstetric and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) ultrasound services. Monitor ultrasound study performance metrics to ensure compliance with departmental, organizational, and accreditation standards. Conduct routine audits of OB and MFM imaging studies to verify completeness, accuracy, documentation quality, and adherence to established protocols. Identify variances, trends, and opportunities for improvement in imaging quality and workflow processes; communicate findings to leadership and providers. Collaborate with physicians, sonographers, and clinical staff to support standardization of imaging practices and consistency across all OB/MFM studies. Maintain quality databases, tracking systems, and performance dashboards to support ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrates ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking, and comprehending English effectively to carry out job requirements [Required] Ensure a safe and comfortable experience for the patient during the study. [Required] Create and edit orders in the electronic medical record. [Required] Create patient records in the sonography reporting software system. [Required] Create sonographer reports in the sonography reporting software system and enter requisite data. [Required] Demonstrate timeliness in completion of studies and documentation. [Required] Detailed fetal anatomic surveys [Required] Fetal Echocardiography [Required] Doppler assessment of arterial and venous blood vessels. [Required] Fetal growth assessments [Required] Transvaginal cervical length assessments [Required] Provide sonographic assistance for procedures (chorionic villus sampling, amniocentesis, cerclage) [Required]
Education:
High School Grad or Equiv [Required] Associate [Preferred]
Field of Study:
Graduation from a school of
Diagnostic Medical Sonography Work Experience:
3+ experience in OB/GYN sonography. [Required] Vascular experience as approved by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in OB/Gyn. [Required]
