Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity seeks an experienced Ultrasound General Technologist with advanced skills in maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) ultrasound imaging. The role involves critical thinking, decisive judgment, and effective communication to provide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services in a fast-paced, complex clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Review patient requisitions and indications to determine the appropriate ultrasound exam. Collaborate with medical staff and MFM physicians to clarify and ensure accurate imaging protocols. Perform detailed fetal anatomy assessments across all trimesters and identify abnormalities. Conduct Doppler ultrasounds including umbilical artery, middle cerebral artery, and ductus venosus with understanding of their clinical indications. Evaluate multiple gestations, including chronicity and amnionicity. Perform diagnostic transvaginal ultrasounds and assist with 3D imaging interpretation. Provide guidance during diagnostic procedures such as chorionic villus sampling (CVS), amniocentesis, and percutaneous umbilical blood sampling (PUBS). Maintain current knowledge of ultrasound techniques through continuous medical education. Travel reliably between clinic sites as needed and adapt to variable shifts.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Proficient in ultrasound imaging with strong grasp of fetal anatomy. Experience performing Doppler studies and diagnostic transvaginal scans. Familiarity with 3D imaging techniques is a plus. Skilled in use of Voluson Expert 22 BT24 USA ultrasound equipment. Ability to work independently in a demanding environment with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Reliable transportation for travel between sites.
