• Baptist Health is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for our Ultrasound Department at Baptist ED Oakleaf in Jacksonville, Florida.

This is a Part-Time Days opportunity working Thursday and Friday 6:30am-7:00pm. Call and holiday rotation required. At Baptist Health, our Diagnostic Sonographers play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care through advanced imaging by performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, assisting physicians, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.

Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Responsibilities:

Performs high-quality, diagnostic ultrasound and peripheral vascular procedures Promotes goodwill among coworkers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements

Experience Requirements:

1-2 Years Experience Working in a Hospital Setting 1-2 Years Hospital-based department-specific work experience 1-2 Years Ultrasound Experience 1-2

Years Customer Service Experience Education & Credential Requirements:

Vocational School Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS)

• ARDMS Preferred Registered Radiologic Technologist
• ARRT Preferred Registered Technologist in Sonography
• ARRT Preferred Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
• CCI•Cardiovascular Preferred Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)•ARDMS Preferred Basic Life Support (BLS•AHA Required If hired, must obtain certification in Sonography from the ARDMS or ARRT (S) and RVT or ARRT(VS) or RVS within 12 months of hire.
