Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Ultrasound Technician with a strong commitment to women's health to join our team. As an integral member of our healthcare facility, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality ultrasound imaging services specifically tailored to women's health needs.
Responsibilities:
Perform ultrasound examinations using advanced imaging equipment to generate high-quality images of female reproductive organs, including but not limited to pelvic, and obstetric. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely interpretation of ultrasound findings. Maintain proficiency in ultrasound techniques and stay updated on advancements in technology and protocols related to women's health imaging. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the ultrasound procedure, addressing any concerns or questions they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed, adhering to all regulatory guidelines and standards. Assist in the training and supervision of junior ultrasound technicians, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services, maintaining a caring demeanor. Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures. Complies with all state and federal regulations applicable to sonography. Adheres to policy, procedures, protocols, and commitment to excellence standards Acquires patient's clinical history and provide accurate documentation. Positions patient, equipment, and manipulates technical factors to achieve high quality images for interpretation. Assesses sonographic images for technical quality, proper annotation and patient identification, ensuring that all relative anatomy is demonstrated. Protects patients' privacy and confidentiality. Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Woman's Health Centers, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
Requirements:
Certified Ultrasound Technician with a specialization in women's health preferred. Strong passion for women's health and a deep understanding of the unique healthcare needs of female patients. Proficiency in performing a variety of ultrasound examinations related to women's health, including pelvic, obstetric, and breast imaging. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with healthcare providers and patients. Detail-oriented approach to work, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on best practices in ultrasound imaging and women's health. Other Related Functions Follows established standards of practice for image processing and interpretation. Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment. Maintains well stocked and organized work areas. Performs other duties as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction and quality exams. Education/Training Graduate of accredited school of sonography or meets American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) eligibility guidelines. Licensure/Certification Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) Experience Knowledge of routine ultrasound procedures which include OB/GYN exams.
