Our mission is to make high-quality supplemental breast screening more accessible while providing compassionate, professional care. We are expanding our services through local screening events held at wellness centers, physician offices, and outpatient imaging centers. PRN ABUS

Breast Ultrasound Technologists to support one- and two-day screening events in the St. Petersburg, Cape Coral, and Lakeland areas. Additional screening locations are being added regularly. ABUS technologists will perform automated breast ultrasound screenings, educate and position patients, maintain image quality, and support an efficient clinical workflow. Genesis Breast Screening uses AbbaDox as its radiology information system (RIS) and Sectra as its picture archiving and communication system (PACS) . Team members will use the systems appropriate to their roles and will receive workflow-specific instruction. Event dates and schedules will vary and will be communicated in advance. ABUS Technologist Responsibilities Perform automated breast ultrasound screenings according to established clinical protocols Prepare patients and explain the screening process clearly and compassionately Position patients properly and acquire complete, high-quality ABUS images Review images for technical quality and repeat acquisitions when necessary Operate ABUS equipment safely and appropriately Accurately document and manage examinations using AbbaDox RIS and Sectra PACS Follow all infection-control, patient-safety, privacy, and quality-assurance standards Maintain a clean, organized, and professional screening environment Support an efficient workflow during one- and two-day screening events Communicate clinical or operational concerns promptly Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed ABUS Technologist Qualifications Active Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential required At least one year of professional sonography experience required Breast ultrasound experience strongly preferred Prior ABUS experience preferred but not required Experienced breast ultrasound technologists without ABUS experience must be willing and able to travel to the Genesis Breast Screening center in Tampa for hands-on training Strong patient-positioning and image-acquisition skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to image quality Ability to work independently while following established clinical protocols Reliable transportation to screening-event locations Willingness to work flexible PRN schedules Must be available to begin by October 1 What We're Looking For We are looking for dependable healthcare professionals who: Are committed to women's health and early detection Help patients feel informed, comfortable, and respected Work effectively in mobile and event-based clinical environments Arrive prepared and maintain a professional presence Adapt well to different wellness centers, physician offices, and outpatient imaging facilities Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with clinical and event staff Maintain high standards for patient safety, cleanliness, accuracy, and service
