VHS What You'll Do:
Provide mobile ultrasound services at various facilities including nursing homes, home care, prisons, and processing sites Set up portable sonographic equipment and perform diagnostic exams ordered by physicians Ensure high-quality, clinically diagnostic images are obtained and digitally sent to radiologists Verify patient identity and orders in accordance with protocol Maintain accurate documentation, including exams and billing paperwork Keep equipment and vehicle in excellent condition Follow all safety, hygiene, and professional standards Communicate effectively with facility staff, dispatch, and team members Adhere to all company policies regarding conduct, dress code, and confidentiality
What You Need:
Current state Sonographer license Professional appearance and communication skills Ability to perform mobile ultrasound procedures in various settings Dependability and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision Basic computer and smartphone skills Reliable transportation for regional travel Physical ability to lift and handle equipment (approximately 18-20 lbs) and perform patient positioning tasks Commitment to ongoing learning and adherence to safety and infection control protocols About the
