Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Qualifications:
Current certification or registry as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer (ARDMS or equivalent) Proficiency in general ultrasound imaging procedures Strong knowledge of sonographic anatomy, pathology, and patient positioning Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Previous ultrasound experience, especially in a hospital or fast-paced setting, preferred Excellent communication skills with an empathetic approach
Responsibilities:
Perform general ultrasound imaging examinations, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images Collaborate with physicians and care teams for optimal patient outcomes Educate and comfort patients during all phases of imaging procedures Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all safety and privacy regulations Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and adapt techniques when necessary Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment as needed
