Qualifications:
ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or equivalent certification required Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program Minimum of one year of recent experience in general ultrasound Proficiency in performing and interpreting a variety of ultrasound procedures Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and workflows
Responsibilities:
Perform general ultrasound imaging studies in accordance with physician orders Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures for maximum comfort Adhere to high standards for imaging quality and patient safety Collaborate with radiologists and medical teams for accurate diagnosis Maintain equipment, manage patient records, and ensure compliance with facility protocols Contribute to a positive patient experience through compassionate care
