Setting:
hospital-based travel assignment in Brunswick, GA Responsibilities Explain procedures to patients, assist with positioning, and ensure comfort during exams. Perform ultrasound imaging across multiple areas, including abdomen, heart, vessels, and fetal imaging as indicated; include breast imaging as part of duties. Review captured images for quality, identify normal or pathologic findings, and summarize results for physician review. Prepare, maintain, clean, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment; ensure proper operation of general and vascular ultrasound systems. Manage imaging workflow and collaborate with the care team to support accurate diagnostic assessments. Requirements Proficiency in general and vascular ultrasound imaging, including breast imaging. Ability to position patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort during exams. Skill in acquiring high-quality images and optimizing transducers and machine settings. Capability to review and summarize ultrasound findings for physicians. Availability to work 12-hour daytime shifts on a Wednesday-Friday schedule in a hospital setting as part of a travel assignment.
