Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in echocardiography to a dynamic, high-acuity environment serving both pediatric and adult patients. This cardiac imaging role focuses on a variety of complex cases and provides support to a large structural heart program in a prominent teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center. This is a contract opportunity with robust clinical exposure and collaborative support. Schedule/Hours 10-hour day shifts: 8:00 am to 6:30 pm, 40 hours per week One night on-call shift per week (evening until 7:00 am); mostly weekdays, occasional weekend. Rare call-back. No weekend day rotations required at present Modified self-scheduling in 6-week blocks (manager approval required) Qualifications Minimum 2 years of acute care echo experience Must be highly skilled and confident with pediatric echocardiography National ARDMS credential (RDCS or RCS) and active BLS required Experience supporting a range of patient populations: CHF, post-cardiac procedures, stroke, ER, structural cases, TEEs, and stress tests Ability to assist with procedures such as pericardiocentesis and accurate EF measurements Preliminary reporting skills; findings submitted for physician review Fetal echocardiography and stress test experience preferred, but not required Comfortable orienting new hires a plus First-time travelers welcome Responsibilities Conduct a variety of echocardiographic exams for inpatients and outpatients (including peds and adults) Participate in on-call weekday rotation and holiday coverage as needed Support large volume (40-60 patients daily), with no floating to other units Collaborate with physicians, rapid response/code teams, and other Echo Techs Use EPIC EMR and Philips/GE imaging equipment
