In this vital role, you will utilize advanced medical imaging equipment to produce high-quality ultrasound images that assist in accurate diagnosis and patient care. Your expertise will support a wide range of diagnostic procedures, including vascular, and abdominal ultrasounds. As a Sonographer, you will play a crucial part in delivering compassionate, precise imaging services while ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position offers an engaging environment where your technical skills and medical knowledge make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Duties Operate ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures across various specialties such as thyroid,gynecology, vascular, and abdominal imaging Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures, ensuring their comfort, and maintaining a professional bedside manner Accurately capture and analyze ultrasound images using Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to interpret imaging results and provide detailed reports for diagnosis Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during all procedures Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and safety checks of all medical imaging equipment Keep detailed documentation of procedures, patient information, and technical findings in compliance with hospital policies and medical standards Skills Proficiency in operating diverse medical imaging equipment including ultrasound machines for vascular diagnostics, abdominal ultrasound Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to women's health, reproductive care, cardiovascular health, and general diagnostics Ability to perform vascular ultrasound imaging and interpret vascular technology diagnostics accurately Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly to patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for efficient documentation and picture archiving systems (PACS) for image management Knowledge of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during invasive or sensitive procedures Understanding of diagnostic radiology principles to support comprehensive patient care in diverse clinical settings Join us as a Sonographer where your expertise enhances patient outcomes through precise imaging!
