Job Description

Join Our Growing GYN Team as a Full-Time Ultrasound Tech! The Tifton Woman's Center is looking for a dependable, professional, and patient-focused Ultrasound Tech to join our team. If you're passionate about delivering high-quality care in a supportive environment, we want to hear from you! This position is located in Tifton, GA. 1806 Lee Avenue, Tifton, GA 31794.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform ultrasound examinations (pelvic, obstetric, and breast). Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to assist in diagnostic interpretation. Ensure proper documentation of procedures. Explain procedures and address patient questions or concerns in a professional, compassionate manner. Ensure ultrasound equipment is maintained, cleaned, and functioning properly. Adhere to infection control, HIPAA, and safety protocols at all times. Assist with workflow efficiency, including supporting medical assistants, front desk staff, and patient flow as needed. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality imaging standards. Participate in daily musters to support teamwork and office flow. Cross-train with front desk staff and medical assistants (MAs) to provide coverage when necessary. Assist with Pap and mammogram letters to ensure results are communicated to patients in a timely manner. Provide compassionate patient care, ensuring comfort and clear communication during procedures. Travel to outside clinic locations if needed. Assist in cleaning patient rooms to maintain a safe and sanitary environment. Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
Qualifications:
Completion of the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
