Echo and General Sonographer Medical Imaging of Atlanta Duluth, GA Job Details Part-time | PRN From $45 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications RDCS Diagnostic imaging equipment Document review Operating medical imaging equipment Patient interaction Hospital experience Sonography Full Job Description PRN/Part-Time Cardiac & General Sonographer Health & Wellness Imaging Center - Multiple Locations We are seeking a skilled and registered PRN/Part-Time Cardiac Sonographer to join our prevention-focused imaging center. This is an exciting opportunity to work across two of our locations while enjoying flexible scheduling.
Position Highlights Exams Performed :
Echocardiograms, Carotid Artery, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA), Full abdominal,
Pelvic, Thyroid Not Required :
Pregnancy ultrasounds. First trimester OB experience is a plus, but not required. Breast is not required but a plus.
Schedule :
6-15 hours per week between Duluth & Sandy Springs locations. If more hours are desired, then Riverdale is also available for shifts. Choose your own hours between 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (weekdays).
Saturday :
8:00 AM - 2:00 PM. At least 1 Saturday per month required.
Flexibility :
Choose shifts from 2-6 hours, based on your availability.
Requirements Credentials :
RDCS or RCS certification (Echo) plus registration in General ultrasound.
Education :
Graduate of a Sonography program.
Experience :
Minimum 2 years hospital experience OR 5 years private facility experience. Strong scanning skills, excellent patient care, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasounds (Echo & General). Greet and prepare patients, ensuring a comfortable and professional experience. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment. Review charts for relevant history and prior studies. Document findings and communicate exam completion to providers. Follow established protocols and maintain workflow standards. Compensation $45+/hour depending on experience and skill set. Competitive PRN rates with growth opportunities as availability increases.
