Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract Advance your imaging career with an opportunity to specialize in echocardiography within a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract role calls for a skilled Echo Tech professional to perform critical imaging procedures in a collaborative setting that values clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
Schedule:
10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week Shift hours: 8:00 am - 6:30 pmCall & Holiday Expectations:
On-call:
1 night shift per week (end of shift until 7:00 am next day; typically a weekday, weekend possible)Holidays:
Call required for approximately 50% of major holidays; department open on holiday evesWhat We're Looking For:
Demonstrated proficiency in echocardiography and cardiac imaging procedures Registered or registry-eligible Echo Tech with relevant credentials Strong technical knowledge of imaging equipment and protocols Detail-oriented and capable of delivering clear, accurate imaging studies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work seamlessly with physicians and patients Previous experience in a hospital or clinical environment preferredRole Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality echocardiograms according to physician orders and established guidelines Collaborate with healthcare teams to interpret results and support diagnostic decision-making Maintain equipment and manage daily workflow efficiently Respond promptly to on-call imaging needs, ensuring availability during assigned times Uphold departmental standards for patient care, safety, and documentation Why Consider This Position?
