Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for an experienced Echo Technologist with strong imaging skills to support patient care in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract role offers a consistent 10-hour day shift schedule of 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. Contribute your specialized expertise in echocardiography while collaborating with a supportive clinical team.
Schedule & Shift Details:
10-hour day shifts: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM One night on-call shift per week (End of shift until 7:00 AM) On-call may be a weekday or a weekend; weekend call is infrequent No standard weekend rotation currently Call coverage required for major holidays; department open on the evening of holidays No floating to other unitsQualifications:
Credentialed as a registered Echo Tech (ARDMS or CCI preferred) Prior experience performing adult echocardiograms and echo imaging in a healthcare setting Demonstrated knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology Ability to manage on-call responsibilities and respond promptly Clear and effective communication skills Adaptability and strong attention to detailKey Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality echocardiographic and imaging procedures as ordered by providers Accurately document, analyze, and archive imaging results using hospital systems Communicate promptly with physicians and care teams regarding critical findings Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures Maintain equipment and adhere to hospital protocols and best practices Participate in departmental meetings and professional development as required If you are an Echo Technologist seeking a contract role with a consistent schedule and the chance to make a positive impact, your expertise is needed.
