Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Vascular Ultrasound Technician to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this vital role, you will perform high-quality vascular imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular conditions. Your expertise will support physicians in delivering exceptional patient care within a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your sonography skills and contribute to life-saving interventions at a leading medical facility committed to excellence and innovation. Duties Conduct comprehensive vascular ultrasound examinations, including duplex scans, to evaluate blood flow, vessel structure, and identify abnormalities. Assist with interventional radiology procedures such as catheter placements and other minimally invasive treatments by providing real-time imaging guidance. Monitor patient vital signs and ensure patient comfort throughout procedures, maintaining strict adherence to aseptic techniques. Prepare detailed diagnostic reports and communicate findings clearly to physicians for further evaluation or intervention. Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient information, and imaging data in compliance with hospital policies and medical standards. Support the cath lab team during cardiac catheterization procedures by providing precise ultrasound imaging of cardiac vessels. Demonstrate strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to accurately interpret imaging results and assist in diagnostic evaluation. Qualifications Proven experience in vascular sonography with proficiency in diagnostic evaluation techniques. Knowledge of interventional radiology procedures, including cardiac catheterization and other minimally invasive interventions. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to vascular and cardiac imaging. Skilled in sonography, aseptic technique, and maintaining high standards of patient safety during procedures. Certification as a Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) or equivalent credential is preferred; ongoing education in interventional cardiology is a plus.
