Ultrasound Technologist for Fire and Police Cardiac and Cancer Screening Initiative - Outpatient clinic in Boise, ID ERHC has implemented a screening ultrasound program for firefighters, police officers and EMS personnel. Screening ultrasounds will include limited studies in multiple organs (thyroid, abdominal organs, scrotal and pelvic, and screening carotid and echocardiographic measurements), in addition to occasional diagnostic examinations based on clinical indications. ERHC has purchased a new, high-resolution ultrasound machine (GE Fortis Ultrasound machine). This program has officially launched as of September 2026. We anticipate performing 10-20 ultrasounds per week, to correspond to individuals' annual wellness examinations. Screening ultrasound clinics will have a flexible schedule, allowing the sonographer to maintain additional part-time or full-time employment at another imaging center. We are seeking an experienced and versatile team player to fill the role of General/ Vascular Ultrasound Technologist who will support an expanding team of physicians (family & sports medicine), nurse practitioners, physical therapists, mental health counselors, and massage therapists. ERHC team members must be able to learn quickly, adapt to change, and maintain a high level of flexibility while ensuring a quality healthcare experience for our patients.

Eligibility Requirements:

Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited ultrasound program OR equivalent clinical training, including active credentials in General Sonography (RDMS) and/or Vascular Imaging (RVT/RVS) At least 1 year (and optimally 2-3 years) ultrasound experience required Basic proficiency with ultrasound equipment and

PACS/EMR

systems (ERHC uses Studycast as our PACS system and eClinicalWorks as our EMR) Ability to perform general, vascular and echo studies independently Ability to follow cardiac and cancer screening protocols established by ERHC's cardiology and radiology teams Serves as the clinical knowledge resource for sonography-related questions Excellent customer service skills Ability to maintain patient confidentiality, adhering to the Privacy Practices for Protected Health Information Meet clinic standards for consistent punctuality and attendance Motivated, fast learner, who can work independently after training and is dedicated to the mission of ERHC to serve first responder personnel
