Sonographer Location Coeur d'Alene, ID Facility Kootenai Health Department Imaging Services - Ultrasound Schedule/Shift/Hours Part Time - Weekends Only Category Technical/Professional Hours Per Pay Period 40 = 0.5 Req #: 48722 Apply Now Save Job Saved Sonographer Position Summary Under the direct supervision of a registered sonographer, performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data. Responsibilities

• Schedules and coordinates tests, records test results, and prepares and maintains operational logs
• Calibrates and maintains equipment and orders supplies when needed
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
• Typically reports to a chief technologist or manager
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
• Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned Requirements and Minimum Qualifications
• Actively enrolled student or a recent graduate of an ultrasound program required; must be able to obtain RDMS credential within 90 days of hire
• BLS required Working Conditions
• Must be able to lift or move up to 35 lbs
• Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position
• Typical equipment used in a clinical job
