1. Performs a variety of sonographic exams independently in accordance with existing policies and procedures and based on

ACR, ACOG, AIUM

standards. 2. Effectively and efficiently performs a variety of OB/GYN sonographic exams with competence and care. 3. Reports preliminary findings to the providers for appropriate and timely care. 4. Assesses technical quality of sonograms before submitting images to a Radiologist. 5. Saves and stores hard copy images as well as electronic images of imaging exams. 6. Trouble shoots technical problems. 7. Maintains flexibility as part of a busy OB/GYN practice and is willing to accept additional responsibilities requested. 8. Acts professionally in all situations. 9. Protects sensitive information, proprietary or confidential in nature. 10. Adapts to change in a positive and professional manner. 11. Is accountable for maintaining continuing education requirements. 12. Promotes effective working relationships and works effectively as a part of the team. 13. Shows kindness, concern, and empathy toward patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS). CPR Certification.

Experience:

OB/GYN registered or registry eligible and at least 2 years of obstetric and gynecological sonography experience required.
