Breast Imaging Sonographer UChicago Medicine - 3.8 Chicago, IL Job Details Full-time 7 hours ago Qualifications Breast ultrasound Direct patient care High school diploma or GED Patient interaction Full Job Description Be a part of a world-class academic health-care system at University of Chicago Medicine as a Radiology Breast Imaging Sonographer in the Radiology Department. Here, Under the direction of a Breast Imaging Radiologist, you will perform diagnostic quality Ultrasound imaging for interpretation and assist in Ultrasound guided procedures as assigned. The technologist will provide appropriate patient care and recognize patient's conditions essential for successful completion of the imaging procedures. This position requires direct patient contact, excellent communication skills, including participation in constructive feedback, and the ability to work with initiative and accuracy. Responsibilities include but are not limited to imaging, patient education, data collection and maintaining ACR accreditation. The services are provided in accordance with industry standards, department protocols, and hospital policies and procedures. This position is a 100% onsite opportunity. You will need to be based in the greater Chicagoland area.
