Lumen Cardiovascular Specialists is looking to hire a part-time . Vascular Sonography experience and a certificate are required .

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Required 1 year of experience minimum in the following areas: 1. AAA screening 2. Abdominal Aorta Duplex 3. Arterial Duplex Lower Extremity 5. Renal Artery Duplex 6. Venous insufficiency 7. Carotid Duplex 8. Procedure assistance (Venaseal, Sclero) Performs correct exams after accurate patient identification and order verification Prepares patient for exam and explains nature of tests to patient. Produces diagnostic ultrasounds according to established protocols Evaluates ultrasound video for technical accuracy and diagnostic quality Records administration of vasculars to patients in a timely manner. Maintains vascular data base . Performs duties according to AHI safety and infection control policies and procedures Performs office and clerical duties , writing of preliminary reports and sending them to the physician. Maintains a clean, safe and orderly office. Transports patients to and from the procedure area Performs monthly quality assurance procedures as required Responsible for the confidentiality of material and information with patient medical records Participates in continuing education to keep up to date on changes in vascular technology and procedures

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge of performing and studying carotid, arterial and venous insufficiencies. Knowledge of assisting with Ablations, Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy, venaseal procedures Full knowledge of the equipment to perform vascular procedures including calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting Thorough knowledge of human anatomy to optimize ultrasound images

EDUCATION MINIMUM

Certificate of Vascular Technology

CERTIFICATE LICENSE

Completion of Registry by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International Current CPR certification

Part-time (Thursday full day and Wednesday negotiable)

Pay:

$45.00 - $55.00 per hour
