  • Responsible for performing a variety of duties in relation to imaging patients and ensuring smooth operations of the Ultrasound department while providing appropriate levels of patient care and customer service. Education
  • Associates degree in Radiology/Ultrasound/Ultrasound or Certificate Program in Radiology/Ultrasound Licenses and Certification Licenses and Certification (Excluding Breast Center locations): 1 of the following RDMS registered or registry eligible Registry eligible must have proof of passing
ARDMS SPI
exam prior to start date and passing score on any one corresponding specialty exam within six months of hire ARRT (S) or ARRT (VS) registered CCI registered BLS Must be vascular certified with
RVT, RVS, ARRT
(VS), CCI within one year of hire Licenses and Certifications (Breast Center locations only): 1 of the following RDMS registered or registry eligible Registry eligible must have proof of passing
ARDMS SPI
exam prior to start date and passing score on any one corresponding specialty exam within six months of hire ARRT (BS) or ARRT (M) registered - Registered in Mammography within 6 months

    Technical Experience:

    • Performs ultrasound and radiography exams as appropriate
    • Utilizes PACS and EMR systems.
    • Maintain appropriate IV/Contrast competency.
    • Follows established protocols and procedures for proper patient position, exposure control, and radiation protection.
    • Communicates clearly and effectively with all involved in the patient care process.
    • Cleans and inspects departmental equipment
    • Cleans and stocks Imaging rooms.
