Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Seeking an experienced imaging professional skilled in general ultrasound for a rewarding contract opportunity. This role is ideal for those with a background as an Ultrasound Tech or Sonographer who are ready to provide accurate diagnostic images while supporting patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Qualifications:
Certification as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer (ARDMS or equivalent required) Demonstrated competency in general ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, and small parts imaging Strong knowledge of imaging equipment and safety protocols Ability to interact compassionately with patients and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team Current BLS certification Previous experience in a hospital or clinical imaging setting preferred
Responsibilities:
Conduct a variety of general ultrasound examinations according to physician orders and established protocols Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and privacy Accurately capture and label images for physician interpretation Maintain thorough documentation of procedures and patient records Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting technical issues if they arise Adhere to all regulatory and facility policies regarding patient safety and confidentiality Provide clear communication with healthcare providers and patients to support quality outcomes This contract assignment offers a chance to apply your ultrasound expertise in a supportive and fast-paced healthcare setting.
